Triune Being

The three centers of consciousness,
i.e. the Self, the Individuality and the Personality,
are but aspects of the One Central Spirit,
which is ultimately indivisible, without parts, vehicles,
or any sense whatsoever of separateness,
complete, entire, all in All.
-G. A. Gaskell

According to some authorities
[humans are] composed of Spirit, soul, and body.
What is Spirit?
Your Power to think, move, and act is Spirit.
What is your soul?
Your mind - the instrument of awareness or self-consciousness
by which you think, reason, discriminate, will, enjoy, and suffer -
is your soul.
The vehicle in which Spirit in its self-conscious state
operates through the various faculties of mind, is the body.
-A. K. Mozumdar

Spirit is reflected into a mind nature,
the Soul into an emotional nature and the substantial matter aspect,
which gives the divine spark form into the physical body.
-Lucille Cedercrans

Three spirits, united in one, live and act in man;
three worlds, united into one, throw their rays upon him;
but all three are only the reflection, image, or echo
of one primordial creation.
1. The body comes from the elements,
2. the soul from the stars,
3. and the spirit from God.
All that the intellect can conceive of comes from the stars.
-Paracelsus [Philippus von Hohenheim] (1493-1541)

[Hazrat Inayat Khan] mostly talked
of three principle planes or conditions:
angelic, that is the world of light, sound and feeling;
mind (jinn, genius), that is the world of thought and imagination;
and physical, our well-worn earthly world.
-Elisabeth de Jong-Keesing
